On Craigslist forums debating the issue yesterday, many apartment seekers in New York indicated Dc Craigslist were in favor of the fee.
NO father it is pretty inconvenient to metro. Find Craigslist restaurants, bars and clubs. There are buses, but you would have to transfer to get to school and it would take about 45 late 90 minutes. The area cover hilly and tends to feel way less like a city than a suburb. We hot a lot of activity from Craigslist, said Washington agent Tom Drury, who puts his listings on the site. That means that they are still a little sketchy, very ethnic, Dc have a lot of culture. I had an absolutely Craigslist Dc experience with the American University listserve. She returned my mail with an amazingly thorough synopsis of found various areas of DC. The only problem is that it REALLY expensive (second only to GTown). I'm to Boston in July and its been a huge help.
- But Tony Hain, a Washington agent who also uses the site, said the problem for Craigslist users is the lack of a good search mechanism.
- Craigslist's city-specific Web sites get 3 billion page views and are visited by 10 million viewers month, the company said.

- There no plans to impose fees for real estate listings in other cities.
Promotional Pens, T-shirts, Custom Cool Gadgets, Great Deals, Visit CircuitCity. I wanted to know more about the area since we're coming there soon and have no clue about there. It is also most centrally-located area of the city (bus lines and metro abounds).
I wouldn't any problem with a nominal fee. Craigslist executives have also had similar concerns about its job listings pages, prompting a fee for postings select cities. Fun place, but definitely more of the 20s early 30s set. I would away from Columbia Heights unless you knew exactly what you were getting into as it tends to be more dangerous than the others.
I would stay away from AM if you are interested in quiet as it is THE place to party in DC and the streets to stay busy 24-hours a day. This week, it's New York City apartment brokers who are being told that a listing fee is on way.
